What data is processed and why
Technical server logs
When you visit the website, the server records your IP address, the page visited, the date and time, and your browser. This is needed for the website to work, to keep it secure and to detect abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the proper functioning and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are deleted after 15 days at most.
Website assistant
The assistant's button menus run in your own browser and don't send anything.
WhatsApp messages
If you use “Tell Óscar” or “Message on WhatsApp”, the assistant opens WhatsApp on your device with a message ready to send. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself. The message is received by the data controller via WhatsApp, a Meta service, and is used only to deal with your question or the issue. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by sending the message. It is kept only for as long as needed to help you.
Where the website is hosted
The website and its videos are hosted on Clouding.io servers in Barcelona (Spain), which acts as data processor. We don't use Cloudflare analytics or any other statistics tool. The website's fonts are also served from our own server, without going through Google.
Third-party services
- Map. It's a static image made with OpenStreetMap data and served from our server: it doesn't send anything to anyone. Tapping it opens our Google Maps listing on the Google website or app.
- Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps. They're just links: nothing is sent until you open them.
If you use WhatsApp or open the Google Maps, Instagram or Facebook links, those services process your data under their own privacy policies. Meta and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
This website doesn't set any cookies, either our own or third-party, and doesn't store anything in your browser. That's why you won't see a cookie banner.
Other information
You don't need to give us any data to use this website. We don't make automated decisions or build profiles with your data, and we don't share it with anyone unless required by law.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to piverdwash@gmail.com or calling +34 677 34 96 88. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
